We will be discussing: (a) Fall General Membership meeting and program, (b) Participation in the LWVUS Education Project, (c) Membership recruitment, (d) PMP check to national (all or installments), and (e) March 2012 fundraiser. All members are welcome to attend.
Saturday, October 15, 2011		TBA	Fall Membership Meeting & Introduction of the LWVUS Education Study. We will host Stacy Callender, State Education Study Coordinator, who will introduce the LWVUS Study on the Role of the Federal Government in Education. All are invited to attend! Bring a friend! Thursday, January 26, 2012	5:30 pm	St. John's Episcopal Church 611 Rayburn Avenue Ocean Springs, MS	Membership Event. We will socialize over dinner and watch the powerful film Iron-Jawed Angels depicting the suffragettes' courageous fight to win the right to vote for American women. It's a spell binding two hour movie! Please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share. The League will provide meats and drinks for the meal. Plan to bring a friend along!
Tuesday, March 20, 2012	11:30 am-1:30 pm	IP Casino Resort Spa 850 Bayview Avenue Biloxi, MS 39530	Making Democracy Work Event. We will hold a public education and fundraising luncheon featuring Stan Tiner, News Vice President of the Sun Herald. We will post more information soon about how you can become involved in Making Democracy Work in our Gulf Coast community!
