Saturday, July 24, 2010	10:00am-4:30pm	Courtyard by Marriott 119 Grand Drive Hattiesburg, MS 39401	Membership Initiative Training. This workshop is a hands-on way to explore building membership and developing leaders in the League. It is part of an extensive national program aimed at helping local Leagues thrive. The focus is how YOU can use these ideas for your benefit. It is especially important for the president and membership chairs to attend.

Sunday, October 3, 2010			Voter Registration Deadline. for mail-in voter registration forms to be postmarked for the November 2 General Election [If your post office does not affix postmarks on Sundays, your mail-in voter registration form must be postmarked on Saturday, October 2nd.]
Tuesday, November 2, 2010	7:00am-7:00pm		Election. GENERAL ELECTION
Friday, November 12, 2010			Election Returns. Deadline for County Election Commissioners to canvass returns from all voting precincts and transmit to the Secretary of State the election results.
Thursday, March 17, 2011	10:00am-2:00pm	Capitol Building Jackson, MS	Legislative Day & LWVMS Board Meeting. More details to come!
